Know in two weeks whether your assumption holds?

The most expensive features are the ones built on an untested assumption. Often it only becomes clear late that users take a step differently than expected – at the point where a correction is costly. The earlier we test the assumption, the cheaper it is.

Lean UX is our method for this: test, learn, adapt. We write down the assumptions we are betting on and test the one that would hurt most if it were wrong first. For this we choose the simplest form that fits the question. With guerilla testing we get honest feedback, without a big study setup.

This becomes tangible with a prototype. Depending on the question, we build it clickable or already functional, to validate an entire user journey or a specific technical challenge as a proof of concept, decoupled from the rest of the app. This way we quickly see whether a user flow feels natural or whether an AR feature delivers the required accuracy. The spectrum ranges from linear wireframes through click dummies to apps that can be tested on a smartphone.

A prototype also convinces others. Many customers use it to bring management or investors on board. The sprint fits best when something new is on the table: a new audience, a new business model, or a feature whose value is still open. It is often the step before the question of product-market fit. Once the product is live, data-driven design takes over.

We'll be happy to advise you on which assumption should go to the test first and which prototype will move your project forward fastest.
