Progressive web apps combine the best of both worlds: they run in the browser, but can be installed on the homescreen like a native app – on iOS, Android and desktop. No app store, no forced updates, no installation barrier. For many use cases, this is the fastest and most economical way to reach users.
We develop PWAs with React or Vue.js – supplemented with service workers, a web app manifest and offline functionality. The result is a web application that feels and behaves like a native app on a smartphone.
Through intelligent caching, PWAs work even with poor or no connection. We define together with you which content and functions should be available offline.
Users can add a PWA directly from the browser to their homescreen – without an app store. On supported devices, push notifications are also possible to address users in a targeted way.
If your PWA also needs a backend, we rely on Node with TypeScript or Kotlin depending on requirements. We advise you on which architecture makes sense for your product.

When is a PWA the right choice?
A PWA is suitable when a broad range of devices needs to be reached without installation, app store dependencies are to be avoided, or the effort for two native apps is not justified. If deep operating system integration is required – for example Bluetooth, advanced camera functions or complex offline scenarios – a native app is often the more reliable choice.
