Uepaa relies on Milk as app development partner

"Saving lives with technology" has been Uepaa's vision since its launch. What began as an outdoor and sports app in 2012 has evolved over time into today's app for occupational safety. Milk Interactive has been involved in the further development of the smartphone application for iOS and Android since the end of 2023.

‍Mathias Haussmann, CEO of Uepaa AG, works almost exclusively with external partners and is doing very well: "I have always been fascinated by the concept of a decentralised organisation. At Uepaa, we have implemented this consistently to maximise speed and efficiency."

Haussmann contacted us with the intention of solving a specific problem with the existing app. This was that using the Android app on some devices was draining the battery much faster than on other models. With our expertise in mobile apps, we were able to identify and resolve the problem within a very short time. Very happy with the efficient and effective solution, we were able to gain Haussmann's trust and have already carried out further fixes. But this is just the beginning.

We are currently revising the app's outdated user experience and user interface and implementing the changes for Android and iOS. In addition to design and software development, we are also involved in testing. This is all the more important in this project, as human lives are at stake and nothing can go wrong.
